A RARE EXHIBITION TURQUOISE AND YELLOW GLAZED LINTHORPE JARDINIERE ON STAND OF LARGE SIZE DESIGNED BY CHRISTOPHER DRESSER of striking design having an Egyptian style urn-shaped top with stylised feather and floral decoration, the circular base decorated with sunflowers. Both stamped Linthorpe, the top numbered 2253 and the base 2058 133cm high overall. There is a small rim chip to the top edge of the base. One of the handles has had some restoration and there is a star crack to the inside.
