Much Binding In The Marsh - 1944-54 - BBC radio comedy series - A rare early original 1940's (1949) theatre programme signed by the entire cast (plus others) from the popular post-WWII radio comedy series. Autographs include; Richard Murdoch, Kenneth Horne, Sam Costa, Maurice Denham, John Dean, Maureen Riscoe, as well as many of the dancers from The Squadronaires Dance Orchestra. All signed to various parts of the programme, all in blue fountain pen. A rare full cast signed item.

Pink paper, with text in red and black. Admission details and timings to the lower section. Printers marks for Arthurs Press Ltd, Gloucester. Folded. Some fading / discolouration to the centre, largely around the red text, but otherwise generally in good condition for its age. Comes with a letter of provenance explaining it to have originally belonged to Reg Reed, the promoter. Measures approx; 49cm x 75cm. Rare poster.

William Somerset Maugham (1874-1965) - English playwright, novelist, and short story writer - rare autograph on a torn book page which states ' This Edition of A Writer's Notebook is limited to 1000 copies and is signed by the author, Number '123' (handwritten)'. The autograph features beneath in green ink. Irregularly torn, but easily made square and displayed. Rare autograph, the torn page removed from a rare limited edition copy of his book.

The Beatles - an incredibly rare original 1963 tour programme and flyer from The Beatles' first ever UK tour, supporting the then-16 year old Helen Shapiro. The rare flier for Weds February 6th, at Granada in Bedford. Yellow, with a large printed photograph of Shapiro to the right-hand side. The Beatles noted as being second on the bill. The programme has been autographed by Shapiro to the front in red ink, as well as Kenny Lynch to the interior (both obtained during the period). The programme features various biographies and black and white photographs of those acts appearing. Rare surviving items of very early Beatles memorabilia.

The Rolling Stones - a rare piece of Rolling Stones memorabilia - an original NME New Musical Express ' Poll Winners All Stars Concert ' programme from Sunday May 12th 1968 at the Empire Pool, Wembley, London. The Stones were a late-addition to the bill, playing just two songs, and as such don't officially feature in the programme (but are mentioned on the back page). This live concert was to be the last for Brian Jones, who departed the band shortly after and passed away just over a year later. It was also the live debut of ' Jumpin' Jack Flash '. The programme is also supplied with its original ticket. A rare pair of Rolling Stones concert items.

William Wymark Jacobs (1863-1943) - English author of short stories and novels (known as W.W. Jacobs ) - a rare handwritten letter from the author to a John Watson of York. Dated May 3rd 1930 and written on headed notepaper (from Jacob's address), the letter thanks Mr Watson for his 'efforts as a publicity agent', and appears to be letting the gentleman down gently. Signed to the base. Supplied with its original handwritten envelope. Rare piece of correspondence. During his career, Jacobs was best known for his farcical comedies involving dockside and rural Essex characters. He occasionally wrote horror stories and today is most famous for "The Monkey's Paw" (1902)

Kenneth Grahame (1859-1932) - Scottish writer, most famous for The Wind in the Willows (published 1908) - a rare typed and signed letter from the author to a Mr Curtis Brown. The letter talks about the death of Grahame's son just a few weeks prior, and reads;'Dear Mr Curtis Browne - Just a line of true appreciation of your kind words of sympathy with us in our overwhelming sorrow. The dear boy went back to Oxford this term so full of new plans and interests, with 'Mods' safely behind him, and liberty to follow a wider range of thought and reading. From all we can glean, his last days were specially happy ones. He was laid to rest in Oxford on his 20th birthday. You may like to know, that his little visit to you was a matter of constant pleasant recollection. Owning to the war, he had led so secluded a life, socially speaking, that this was a real 'event', and the memory of it was cherished by him. Yours most truly...' then signed by Grahame in black ink.Typed on headed paper, with personal address to top (noted as Boham's, Didcot) and dated 26th May, 1920.A rare and poignant letter. Grahame wrote The Wind In The Willows based upon stories he used to tell his son Alastair, who was born blind in one eye and plagued with health problems his entire life. Alastair took his own life on 7th May 1920 - just five days before his 20th Birthday.

All laid in to a tatty ' St Ives ' photo album. Interesting collection, with some rare autographs present.

Drew Bundini Brown (1928-1987) - an incredibly rare original owned and worn kimono from Bundini, Muhammad Ali's famous trainer / cornerman and speechwriter who coined the famous saying 'Float Like A Butterfly, Sting Like A Bee, Rumble Young Man, Rumble '. The Kimono of black silk construction, with red silk lining. Bundini's full name appears to one lapel, and the Japanese translation to the other. Large silk-work dragon to the rear, with accompanying smaller dragons to each breast. An impressive garment. Generally good condition, suffering a small area of wear to one side (see photos). An impressive and rare piece of Boxing memorabilia. Brown joined Muhammad Ali's boxing team as a cornerman in 1963 and remained with him throughout his career. Brown was one of Ali's speech writers. He wrote certain poems, including that which coined Ali's famous and oft quoted: "Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee, rumble young man rumble." Ali used the poem to taunt Sonny Liston at the press conference prior to his February 25, 1964, victory over the WBA and WBC champion to claim both titles.

The Beatles - an incredible original concert advertising poster ' Operation Big Beat ' from the Tower Ballroom (Brighton), Friday 14th September (1962). Printed on yellow and green paper, with black text, the poster advertising the acts present for the concert - The Beatles take top billing, whilst Rory Storm And The Hurricanes feature below, along with Gerry And The Pacemakers, The 4 JAys, Billy Kramer, and The Mersey Beats. Price information and travel details to lower section. The poster has been conservation-mounted onto acid free paper with several tears repaired. The poster shows signs of previous crumpling, old pin-holes and fold lines. The poster measures approx; 76cmx50cm. A rare poster.Note; we believe this poster to be genuine - it shows clear signs of age, and wear commensurate with its date, the paper stock and printing all appear to be from period. However, it must be noted that reproductions of this poster are widely available and have been for some years. The Beatles - Apple Records Corp - an incredibly rare and original 'made-for-friends-and-employees-only' Christmas gift from The Beatles Apple Corp c1969 - a brass Apple paperweight / trinket pot. Made of brass, with a removable upper section which lifts off to reveal an open interior for stationery. This variation (single leaf) being given to special staff members, and this example was gifted to the previous owner by Freda Kelly (The Beatles' Secretary) at Christmas in 1969. A rare example, and unusual piece of Beatles memorabilia. Measures approx; 12cm tall.

The Beatles - an incredibly rare early set of Beatles autographs (c1962). All signed to a low-numbered Fan Club membership card. The card details sadly obscured to reverse, but a renewal date of 1963 visible, making these autographs c1962, and only a few months after Ringo had joined the band. Signed by Paul, John, George & Ringo, largely to clear areas of the card in black ink - several of them adding kisses to their autographs. Originally purchased from the Fan Club member some years ago, by the current vendor. A rare and impressive early set of Beatles autographs.

Sir Tom Finney (1922-2014) - English Footballing Legend - Often said to be one of the sport's ' Greatest-ever Players ', - a unique pair of Match worn boots by Finney, as worn in the England V. Portugal match, Sunday 14th May, 1950 in which England beat Portugal 5-3, with Finney scoring four of those goals (including his only hat-trick for England). The boots being of leather construction, with six studs to the sole, and hobnails marking Finney's initials ' TF ' and his number ' 20 '. Both contain their original laces. A fantastic rare pair of match worn boots from one of England's most respected and beloved players, and an important part of our Football heritage.  Provenance; these boots were originally gifted to fellow England teammate and friend Alan Hodgkinson. Hodgkinson then gifted these boots to our vendor, a former footballer himself and former owner of a football club. Our vendor wishes to remain anonymous, but has supplied a letter of provenance for the winning bidder. Sir Thomas Finney CBE (5 April 1922 – 14 February 2014) was an English footballer who played from 1946 to 1960 as an outside left for Preston North End and England. He is widely acknowledged to have been one of the sport's greatest-ever players. He was noted for his loyalty to Preston, for whom he made 569 first-class appearances, and for many outstanding performances in international matches. In later life, Finney was Club President of both Preston and of non-league Kendal Town F.C. For his charitable work, he was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the 1961 New Year Honours and a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in the 1992 New Year Honours and was knighted in the 1998 New Year Honours.

Only Fools & Horses - an incredibly rare and important part of television history - Uncle Albert's Will - which saved the Trotter family from destitution in the 2003 final episode 'Sleepless In Peckham'. The prop being of simple printed folded paper form ' The Last Will & Testament Of Albert Gladstone Trotter ' printed to front, with the date (28th June 2000) handwritten. It can be presumed that the will is fully written within the folded document, although framing prevents us seeing this. The prop has been professionally framed and glazed alongside images from the episode, and a screen shot of this actual prop. An aluminium plaque reads ' A special presentation featuring the Will of Albert Trotter, as seen on screen in the Only Fools & Horses episode ' Sleepless In Peckham ,' first broadcast by the BBC on December 25th, 2003.' This exact prop can be seen in one of the final scenes of the 2003 Christmas Special - the last full episode of the series - which sees them saved from poverty by Albert leaving them £145,000 in this very Will. An important piece of our comedy heritage, and a prop which has real significance within the series. With certificate from the Only Fools & Horses Appreciation Society. Total size approx; 49x75cm.

Nick Park - English Animator - Aardman Animations - An original sketch by Aardman Animations film maker Nick Park. The sketch of his most famous creation - Wallace & Gromit. Drawn in pen, the sketch depicts Wallace with his arm around Gromit. Signed and titled to the bottom. Obtained in person by vendor. Measures approx; 6"x4". Rare.

The album was delayed due to Covid-19 but the signing took place just prior to its original release date (April 2020), and these were available for a limited time on Gaga's official website. Rare and sought after autograph.
