An early 20th century sapphire and diamond ring, with two channels of cushion shape sapphires interspaced by old European cut diamonds. Estimated total diamond weight 0.55cts, colour H-I, clarity SI1-P2. Weight 3.34gms. Condition: The ring is in overall fair condition. There is abrasion to the facet edges of the sapphires, one of the outer sapphires is rounded and seriously abraded. All sapphires are well matched in colour with an even saturation of colour. All of the diamonds are nice and bright, the larger old European cut diamond with scattered white inclusions running throughout the stone. Some of the claws are worn and would need attention. Ring size P.

Lot 123

An emerald and diamond three stone ring, the central octagonal shape emerald is in a sixteen claw setting flanked by old European cut diamonds. Estimated total diamond weight 3.01cts, colour L/Tinted, clarity SI1-2. Emerald weight 2.33cts. Condition: The ring is in overall good condition. The emerald is of medium green hue with an even saturation of colour running throughout the stone, there are typical inclusions scattered throughout the emerald that are not significantly affecting light passing through the stone. There are a couple of small surface reaching fractures and chips to the facet edges of the emerald. Both diamonds are fairly bright, they appear to be slightly abraded to the facet edges. All claws are secure with slight scratches to the ring shank. Ring size O.

Lot 134

An 18ct gold single stone diamond pendant, the brilliant cut diamond is in a four claw setting with a crossover design suspender on a 18ct gold fine curb link chain. Estimated diamond weight 0.20cts, colour I-J, clarity P2. Length of chain 46cms. Condition: The pendant is in overall good condition. There are slight scratches to the suspender in places. There is an easily visible central internal fracture to the diamond. The chain appears a little bent out of shape in places.

Lot 140

A 14ct gold single stone diamond ring, with a claw set old European cut diamond on a wide band ring. Estimated total diamond weight 1.80cts, colour I, clarity SI2. Weight 10.80gms. Condition: The ring is in overall good condition. The diamond is bright and lively. The stone appears to be drawing a lot of colour from the gold setting making it difficult to assess the colour. Two small surface fractures can be seen to the kite facets. Ring size-V 1/2.

Lot 143

A single stone diamond ring, the brilliant cut diamond is in a six claw setting. Estimated diamond weight 1.07cts, colour J-K, clarity SI2-P1. Condition: The ring is in overall good condition. There are some scratches to the back of the ring shank in keeping with general wear. There is a solder join to the back of the ring. Ring size J1/2.

Lot 148

Two stone set brooches, to include an early 20th century 9ct gold brooch with a central oval turquoise cabochon within an open scroll design body and a composite bar brooch the principal cultured pearl within a surround of old cut diamonds. Weight 7gms. AF. Condition: The brooches is in overall good condition. The turquoise have an uneven body colour with dark veins running throughout. The small seed pearl detail is grey in colour. The brooch pin has been replaced. Bruising, scratches and scuffs can be seen, general wear. The cluster to the bar brooch has been added. The diamonds are bright. Blemishes can be seen to the surface of the pearl. Light scratches and scuffs can be seen, general wear.

Lot 149

An Edwardian diamond and cultured pearl pendant, circa 1901. The old European cut diamond openwork pendant of shield design, surmounted by ribbon detail with central cultured pearl drop, and suspending a cultured pearl drop, with diamond three stone suspension loop, on a fine belcher link chain. Cultured pearls replaced at a later date. Length of pendant 5.6cms, length of chain 42cms. With fitted makers case for `D & J Wellby Ltd, Garrick St, London. Condition: The pendant is in overall good condition. Both cultured pearls have a bright lustre and are well matched, the diamonds are lovely and bright. A few of the diamonds are chipped, visible with magnification. There are slight scratches to the setting in keeping with the age of the piece. Some if the fine belcher links appear dented, slightly off shape. The box is scuffed and worn, with some damage to the satin and velvet, the outer casing faded in places with scuffs.

Lot 155

Three five stone set rings, to include an early 20th century 18ct gold ruby and diamond ring, each graduated ruby interspaced by an old European cut diamond, an early twentieth century split pearl ring with outer emerald detail and a graduated ring set old European cut diamonds. Weight 7.8gms. Condition: Ruby and diamond ring-overall condition-fair. One ruby deficient. Pearl and emerald ring-overall condition poor-two pearls damaged and two emeralds deficient. Diamond five stone ring-wear to the gallery and engraving on both sides and surface reaching inclusions in the diamonds.

Lot 157

Five gold stone set rings, to include a ruby and diamond twisted band ring stamped 18ct, a 9ct gold three stone sapphire and diamond twist ring, a 9ct gold red and colourless paste ring and two similar rings. Weight 13.2gms. Condition: Overall condition of the collection of rings-fair. One calibre cut ruby deficient from the half eternity. All have incurred wear to the mounts and hoops in keeping with age and being worn.

Lot 159

A multi gem set butterfly brooch, with a cultured pearl and emerald set body and sapphire, ruby and diamond set openwork design wings. Length 4.4cms. Condition: The brooch is in overall good/fair condition. The rubies, sapphires and emerald are quite heavily included, one sapphire with rutile inclusions, the rubies with scattered inclusions and the central emerald with a few surface reaching fractures, the profuse inclusions significantly affect the light transmission through the stone. The rose cut diamonds are all tinted brown, the split pearls vary in shade, the silver mounting is tarnished black, there are slight scratches to the pin and setting.

Lot 161

A pair of 18ct white gold three stone diamond earrings, each to include three articulated millegrain set brilliant cut diamonds. Estimated total diamond weight 1.35cts, colour H-J, clarity SI1-P1. Length 1.4cms. Condition: The earrings are in overall new condition. All of the diamonds are included, there are scattered inclusions to all of the diamonds easily visible with 10x magnification. The diamonds are fairly bright, with areas of scratches to the settings in places.
