Butler & Wilson - A Butler & Wilson of London dancing couple set with clear and jet Swarovski crystal marked with Butler & Wilson logos and original box brooch measurements 13 cm x 6 cm, also included in the lot is a large gilded peacock set with gemstone and enamelled detailing, a vintage white metal brooch set with cz, a celtic style brooch inscribed 'For Home and Country and a gilded brooch stone set in the form of a frog marked 20323 and a white metal stone set brooch in the form of a kingfisher (qty) Est £40 - £60
dating: Second part of the 20th Century provenance: India, Saw, double-edged blades in damask, with double tip, a cartouche with umbrella and silver inscription on one side. One with green-stone grip, carved with a horse's head, the other in white/orange stone, carved in classical style and provided with a scabbard. length 22- 22.5 cm.
dating: early 20th Century provenance: Indopersia, Almost straight, single-edged blade, in damask, the back decorated with notches and with one rest. Silver ring-nut and grip with shell decorations in the upper part, and one red, cabochon stone on both sides. Wooden scabbard covered with green velvet, chape and cap decorated with silver rinceaux. One small loop. length 32,5 cm.
dating: 1883 provenance: Greece, Straight, single-edged blade with 'T'-back, decorated in silver, finely engraved on one side and dated '1883'; silver hilt, engraved with floral and geometrical motifs, ivory grip scales with ears, ivory button, carved with beams and surmounted with a red stone. Wooden scabbard, completely covered with silver foil, richly embossed with trophies, horns of plenty and floral motifs, the cap decorated with rings, chape shaped as dragon's head, suspension ring with chains, featuring three, coral spheres. length 42.5 cm.
dating: last quarter of the 18th Century provenance: Spain, Smooth-bore, two-stage, 16 mm cal. barrels, octagonal first part, with barely readable, gold-plated mark and silver floral decorations, round after a ring, with moulded nozzle; engraved tangs; locks engraved and signed in barely readable way 'TORENI'(?). Wooden, full stocks, slightly embossed with brass mounts, engraved with floral motifs, trigger-guards and butt-plates decorated with silver busts. A silver escutcheon on the back. Iron ramrod and belt hook. In a fine, leather-covered case, painted with floral and geometrical motifs (parts missing and defects), irrelevant. A horn powder flask and stone bullet mold inside. length 26 cm.
dating: circa 1900 provenance: Giava, Heavy, single-edged blade, strongly curved and convex, straight back. Wooden grip, chiselled with a bird's head with eyes in red stone. Wooden scabbard (small damage on the back) with floral and geometrical carvings, provided with belt's hook, wooden as well. length 28,5 cm.
