An enamel and gem set blackamoor bar brooch, heightened with black and white enamel, his turban with coral corallium rubrum cabochon and red stone accents, later adapted with bar brooch fitting, length 3.2cmLosses, chips and fractures to the enamel, most obviously to the turban, and scuffs/scratches throughout the enamel. The coral cabochon has a small hole to the tip and both the cabochon and red stone have surface wear. The mount has signs of general wear and areas of pitting throughout. The bar brooch fitting has been later added to the blackamoor, having a large area of grey solder at the junction between, which extends down towards the tip of the blackamoor panel, where there is a further small split/junction. The visor clasp to the bar is also later replaced and is currently functioning. Length of blackamoor approx. 2.35cm. Metal standard is untested. Gross weight approx. 4.8gm.

The tourmaline has some scuffs and scratches to the surface and scattered chips/nicks to facet edges, measuring approx. 15.8mm length x 11.6mm width x 7.5mm depth. The mount has general surface wear, with solder joins at the junctions of the shoulders to the setting. Metal standard is untested. Gross weight approx. 5.6gm.

An amethyst single stone ring, the oval mixed-cut amethyst in six claw setting, yellow precious metal mounted, accompanied by a hand painted design sketch, the reverse signed 'L. A. Rimer, 7 Skinner Street, Clerkenwell, London, EC1', ring size approximately O - PThe amethyst has a deep mid-purple hue, containing faint colour zoning, fractures and 'tiger stripe' inclusions. The amethyst has some heavy scuffs, scratches and chips/nicks to the surface and measures approx. 21mm length x 16.6mm width x 11.4mm depth. The culet of the stone protrudes a little below the base of the setting. The mount has general surface wear, with a small area of staining to one shoulder and solder joins at the junctions of the setting to the shoulders and to the back of the shank. Metal standard is untested. Gross weight approx. 8.9gm.

A diamond single stone pendant on chain, the round brilliant-cut diamond in four claw setting, suspended from a spiga-link chain, yellow precious metal mounted, stamped '750', diamond weight approximately 0.20ct, pendant length 0.9cm, chain length 45cmOf modern manufacture, with light surface wear to the pendant mount. The chain has a small broken link and a further kink near to the clasp. The clasp is currently functioning and the end loops have indistinct marks, possibly for Unoaerre. The diamond is bright and lively, with estimated VS2 to SI1 clarity and H to I colour, assessed mounted. Metal standard is untested. Gross weight approx. 3.5gm.

Second pendant: garnets are well matched, of mid brownish-red hues, most stones containing mineral, fracture and fissure inclusions. One of the garnets has a circular chip and the others have surface wear, nicks/small chips and scuffs, each stone measuring between approx. 5mm - 5.3mm diameter. The mount is mis-shapen, with a skewed lower section, and has wear to the gilt finish. The chain has surface wear and the clasp is functioning. Gross weights approx: pendant 2.7gm, chain 2.5gm.

An early 20th century peridot and half pearl pendant/brooch, the lozenge-shaped openwork panel centred with a circular mixed-cut peridot in claw setting, bordered by half pearl set clusters and foliage, surmounted by a similarly set detachable bale and suspending a pear-shaped peridot drop, stamped '15CT', (half pearls untested for origin), total length 5.2cmPeridots are well matched, of light to mid yellowish-green hues, both stones with surface wear, the circular stone with a chip to the girdle, beneath one of the claws. The circular stone measures approx. 7.8mm diameter x 6.2mm depth and the pear-shaped stone measures approx. 9.4mm length x 6mm width x 4.4mm depth. Half pearls are well matched, some pearls with subtle greyish discolouration, some pearls with surface blemishes, scuffs or fractures. The mount has surface wear throughout and patchy tarnishing. The small jump rings connecting the panel to the drop may be later replaced. The pin is a slightly different colour to the mount and currently functions. Metal standard is untested. Width of panel approx. 3.15cm. Gross weight approx. 7.6gm.
