An Hellenistic style handmade woven gold bracelet by Natalia Josca, the front clasp of Herakles knot design inlaid with garnets amidst applied rope and wire work decoration, pin fitting, plaque signed NJ and 22k, 18.5cm long, 81g gross This bracelet was illustrated in the American publication, Adornment Magazine (The Magazine of Jewelry & Related Arts), in an interview given by Natalia Josca about her jewellery in 2005. In this article Natalia describes how she hand sanded every garnet in the Herakles knot so they would fit into each individual setting. The process of hand sanding each stone was very slow as the sanding made her fingers bleed, and she would have to wait until her fingers healed before continuing with polishing and setting more of the garnets. The bracelet was also illustrated in an Italian article titled 'A Scuola Di Gioielli' by Rosanna Arzone, about the Jewelry Arts Institute in New York where Natalia Josca had studied.
