* A unique pyritised crinoid group of four ‘Sea Lilies’, Seirocrinus Subangularis, Holzmaden, Germany, Jurassic period, 150 million years old, 65 x 90cm (25.5 x 35.5in), with easel. Commonly called ‘sea lilies’, crinoids were part of a large group of marine invertebrates known as echinoderms that includes starfish and sea urchins. The delicate beauty of this specimen is complete in its original stone matrix, prepared by experts in Germany.
