*Richard Stone (born 1951) oil on board, figure study for a portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II wearing state robes and a diamond diadem - in carved gilt wood frame, 25cm x 19cm. This figure study was painted from sittings at Buckingham Palace 1989-1991. The larger finished portrait was officially unveiled at the National Portrait Gallery and subsequently presented to Colchester Borough Council by the artist in February 1992. Provenance: Purchased by the vendor from Partridge Fine Art from their exhibition 'Richard Stone Notable Portraits' November 2004. Diamond single stone ring with a brilliant cut diamond estimated to weigh approximately 1.55 carats, in eight claw setting on white gold (18ct) shank. Engraved '1.55' indicating diamond weight. A good quality ring
Diamond single stone ring with a brilliant cut diamond estimated to weigh approximately 1.10 carats, in eight claw setting on gold (18ct) shank. Ring size P CONDITION REPORT The diamond has a fissure/crack which touches the table surface and runs across the stone all the way to the girdle. This fissure/crack 'forks' on the surface near the middle of the stone. There are unusual flashes of purple and green and even a 'rainbow' effect which might indicate that the stone has been fracture-filled although I cannot locate the drill hole if this is the case. It is possible that the stone has been fracture filled with glass
Diamond single stone ring with brilliant cut diamond estimated to weigh approximately 0.85 carats, in eight-claw setting, on gold shank. Ring size Q CONDITION REPORT The diamond has small inclusions which are black spots. These are not easily visible to the naked eye but are easily visible with a loupe. No obvious draw of colour but does have a faint brown tone when held against a piece of white paper. It is a fairly 'lively' stone. The girdle is very thick. Setting in good condition. Shank is worn at the base. No hallmarks, possibly removed/lost during re-sizing
