A George V canteen of flatware, by Walker & Hall, Sheffield 1930, to include: twelve table knives; twelve tea knives; twelve table forks; twelve dessert forks; twelve fish knives; twelve fish forks; twelve dessert spoons; twelve tea spoons and soup spoons, two fish servers, one soup ladle, two sauce ladles, bread knife and fork, preserve spoon, sugar tongs, six serving spoons, two salad servers, four butter forks, two carving knives, two carving forks and sharpening stone, all in kings pattern, the shall backs with diamond heels, terminals engraved with initial 'R', the mahogany canteen with beaded rim, shall shaped brass cartouche, two drawers with wreath ring and floral handles and fitted interior, 232oz. gross weighable silver.
A collection of 19th Century seals, to include: a yellow metal fob seal with floral design set with blank citrine, with later added look of conforming design; a blue green agate table seal, with blank white metal matrix; a small bloodstone table seal, set with white metal Corinthian capital seal set with white stone; a white glass fob seal, engraved monogram; and a broken agate fob seal. A single stone diamond ring, the cushion cut diamond weighing 1.78 carats four claw set between tapering baguette cut diamond set shoulders on 18ct. white gold mount, ring size N 1/2; accompanied by GIA report No. 010774201, dated May 20th, 2009, stating that the carat weight is 1.78 carats, colour grade H, clarity grade VS1.
A 19th Century carved chestnut standing corner cupboard of architectural form, with carved flared cornice above a Greek key frieze, the doors flanked by carved pilasters, opening to reveal shaped and lined shelves, raised on a plinth base, 48 x 22 1/2 x 93in. high. NB A label inside this piece states "In about 1956 I bought the corner from the sale of the contents of a late 18th Century house near Wakefield. The house was later demolished, the stone and staircase sold to make way for an office development.
A carved jadeite pendant, the stone of pale lavender tone merging into a paler tone and then pale green with some darker green sections, carved from one piece as two curved columns of fruits, leaves, bats and lingxi fungus, united by a single chain link, late 19th/20th Century, one column is 2 1/8in. (5.5cms), the other 2 3/8in. (6cms) long, link is 1/2in (1.25cms) wide.
Leonard Charles Evetts, ARCA (1909-1997) "FROM ABOVE LONGWITTON, NORTHUMBERLAND" signed and dated 1973; with inscription on a gallery label verso watercolour over pencil 16 x 27cms; 6 1/4 x 10 3/4in.
