An Art Deco white metal brooch with interchangeable studs including one ruby and six coloured paste stones, with original fitted case. Condition - generally very good, brooch missing three small stones, otherwise ok, general including minor scratches, hinge working well and the studs screw in fine, the stud with ruby is slightly smaller and i suspect this is a replacement, the ruby appears free from any inclusions but with fire-marks to surface, suspected to be synthetic verneuil flame fusion and measures approx. 9mm in diam. and 4mm depth, the metal is unknown but probably not gold nor platinum, other stones appear good with minor scratches to stone facet faces only.
AN 18CT DIAMOND SOLITAIRE RING, the central stone being of an estimated 1.25 carats, ring size N++Band stamped 18ct Plat. No obvious damage or restoration We cannot grade diamonds but we can say there is a tint noticeable with the naked eye. Clarity - there are no obvious inclusions under a 10 x loupe. The cut is brilliant.
