2006 BMW M6 Coupé Transmission: automaticMileage:95800The first generation M6 was critically acclaimed throughout its lifespan for its elegant, aggressive 'shark-nose' styling, luxury equipment and performance. A top speed of 158mph made the European M635CSi the second fastest BMW ever built, next to the M1. The new BMW M6 Concept made its debut at the 2005 Geneva Motor Show. It shared the same 5.0 litre, V10 engine and SMG III gearbox as the E60 M5 and produced 500bhp. BMW claimed it accelerated from 0-62 mph in 4.4 seconds. In February 2006, Road and Track measured the 0-60mph time as 4.1 seconds. The top speed was limited to 155mph however, it was reported that the de-limited top speed was 205mph with the optional M-driver's package.This stunning M6 is finished in silver with black, full extended, Merino leather upholstery and was first registered on 14th January 2006 costing in excess of £80,000 from new. Purchased from BMW Stratstone and owned until 2011 when our vendor purchased the car from his boss, the car at this point had been serviced through the BMW network only and was described as immaculate. Our vendor, who has now owned the car for over a decade has cherished it and the service history boasts a further six service stamps in the original booklet from well-known BMW specialist Munich Motors, all with accompanying invoices, the last in October 2021. The car is fully loaded, the M6 had nearly every option available from new but, specified was also Bluetooth telephone preparation and high beam assist which coupled to head-up display, heated memory seats and more, made this not only a weapon but one loaded with luxuries. The wheels have recently been refurbished and the paintwork is near unmarked due to a refresh in 2020 for stone chips. Offered with a year's MoT test certificate, not only is this an incredibly capable sportscar with one of the most sought-after modern engines but the BMW V10 is a comfortable car that you could live with every day, this is partly why they were so popular with Directors and business owners, using them to waft up and down the motorway network in comfort and style.
