Unmarked white metal swagger stick for the London Scottish regiment. The pommel would appear to be an unmarked silver, with the design mimicking the standard badge of the London Scottish regiment. The pommel is set upon a malacca cane. Plus, a Scottish nickel plated plaid brooch, set with a paste cairngorm stone. Hinge pin and C clasp to the reverse side. Notes: information from the vendor suggests that this plaid brooch was worn as part of the military uniform by his relative, who served in the London Scottish. Approximate length of swagger stick is 63cm. Width of brooch is approximately 9cm. Condition: some age and service related wear. The pommel to the swagger stick has some dents to the top section, and it appears to be missing a small ferrule. The malacca section remains in good condition, with good patination. The plated surface of the brooch shows a little normal wear, particularly to the reverse, with the brassy base metal showing through. The pin and clasp both work as they should.
