A sapphire and diamond cluster ring, the oval sapphire to a surround of diamonds in a galleried setting to an unhallmarked yellow metal shank Condition Report: 243:Sapphire 1.26cm x 1.08cm x 0.68cm the culet has slight abrasion/chip. Very slight abrasions and a scratch to stone visible under a loupe. Stone looks clean to the naked eye.
The monogrammist C. DH (act. 1630-1665)/Still Life of Flowers on a Stone Ledge/oil on canvas, 70cm x 136cm/Provenance: from a Welsh country house Condition Report: Overall appears in good condition. Relined and cleaned. The frame is inscribed 'Jean Baptiste Monnoyer 1636-1697' however, even though the painting appears unsigned, our paintings consultant feels that an attribution to The Monogrammist C.DH is more likely.

Generally good condition, very minor nibbles to facets and edge visible under a loupe. Shoulders likely to be high carat yellow gold. Shank possibly platinum or white gold.

Russian interest- a fine Art Nouveau pottery pot, of bulbous form with plum and green coloured iridescent swirl glaze, in the manner of Clement Massier.Applied twin handles of sinuous leaf form inset with polished white cabouchon stone to either side, on conforming silver base bearing Faberge silver mark written in Cyrillic with impressed left facing Kokoshnik '88 and workmaster initials BA, attributed to Johan Victor Aarne. Approximately 12cm including stand, lacking lid.
