A silver and carnelian-set dove bracelet by Georg Jensen, design no. 14, undated but post-1930, the dove motif designed by Christian Mohl-Hansen, the bracelet formed with alternating dove plaques and three-stone carnelian foliate plaque links, with box clasp and safety catch, stamped 925 Sterling Denmark, 18cm long Christian Mohl-Hansen trained as a painter at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts. In 1925, he received a gold medal at the Paris Exhibition for his textile designs. Mohl-Hansen created this famous dove design for Georg Jensen in 1906 and it has been incorporated into a variety of their jewellery pieces.
