A fantastic set of three celadon jade bracelets. Regarded as the most precious stone in ancient China, it symbolizes purity and moral integrity and it was believed to provide it wearer with enhanced clarity and even access to the spiritual world. Bright and light green jade in particular was thought to rapresent the five virtues of humanity, which are courage, modesty, justice, compassion, and wisdom. Original vintage advertising/ art poster titled "Bob Carlos Clarke directing for Notion Pictures", signed by the artist and editioned 37 of 100. Robert "Bob" Carlos Clarke (1950-2006) was a British-Irish photographer who made erotic images of women as well as documentary, portrait and commercial photography. He is "often referred to as the British Helmut Newton" with works held in the collection of the National Portrait Gallery, London. The poster features a black and white photograph of the hind view of a pair of legs and buttocks in Levis jeans, with the iconic logo coloured in red. A building scaffold is erected in the background with tarpaulin on which is printed "Stone Washing by Levi's". The BT tower is featured in the lower left corner. Condition: Good condition, pinholes at corner and minor creasing. Country of printing: UK, designer: Bob Carlos Clark, size (cm): 71x49, year of printing: 1980s.

Original vintage travel poster published in Italian by the Finish Association of Tourism to promote Finland (Finlandia) and the Olavinlinna Castle as tourist destinations. This poster features a great colour photograph by Kai Nordberg showing the fortress of Olavinlinna with a rowing boat in the front. Olavinlinna is a 15th-century three-tower castle located in Savonlinna, Finland. It is the northernmost medieval stone fortress still standing. The castle is built on an island in the Kyrönsalmi strait that connects the lakes Haukivesi and Pihlajavesi. Condition: Good condition, browning, tears on margin, creasing on margins.. Original vintage travel advertising poster for the 'seilbahn' - cable car in Ruedesheim am Rhein, a German winemaking town in the Rhine Gorge and a major tourist attraction. The cable car offers riders to reach the Niederwald monument with panoramic views over Ruedesheim's old town and and vineyards. The Niederwald monument was built in the 1870/80s to commemorate the Unification of Germany, and designed by sculptor Johannes Schilling and first stone laid by Kaiser Wilhem I. The minimalist artwork features a mother and her two children looking down from a cable car, seeing a fortress, boat and village. Designed by Hildegard Dietrich, Wiesbaden and printed by Kunstanstalt Borsig Darmstadt. Condition: Very good condition, minor tears and creasing. The film is a remake of the 1932 film and tells the story of Cuban refugee Tony Montana (Al Pacino) who arrives in 1980s Miami with nothing and rises to become a powerful drug lord. This George Cukor adaptation of Louisa May Alcott's classic novel "Little Women" (1933) is probably the most beloved version of the oft-filmed story. The imagery of the US One-Sheet features all four New England sisters Jo (Katharine Hepburn), Amy (Joan Bennett), Meg (Frances Dee), and Beth (Jean Parker), who must deal with hardship and privation while their father fights in the Civil War. The highly desirable original unrestored stone litho poster offered here has fold wear with crossfold separation and other wear associated with age and handling. However the colours remain incredibly bright and the defects are nothing that a professional paper restorer couldn't competently deal with. Paper of this pedigree rarely ever comes to market and this is the first time (we believe) one has been offered in the UK.
