A gentleman's Old European style cut 1.7 carat (weighed when the stone was re-polished) diamond ring in 18ct gold. The diamond 4.61mm depth, minimum diameter approximately 6.93mm, maximum 7.38mm, has a faceted girdle and a large culet. Estimated clarity VS1/2, colour H-I. No visible inclusions under 10x, no fractures or indented naturals.Hallmarked for JGC, Birmingham 1978. Size S. Approximate gross weight 10.5 grams.
A circa 1940s yellow metal and moonstone brooch, in the form of a modernist branch and featuring six moonstone cabochons and a further moonstone carved with a face in relief on the surface of the stone. With a trombone clasp. The yellow metal surface tests in the region of 14k. Unmarked but in the style of Binder Brothers. Gross weight 11.9 grams. Approximate length 7cms.
