19th century Qing dynasty Chinese handmade antique silver lock necklace strung with hard stone turquoise and carnelian beads together with silver pods linked to a silver lock pendant with a bird, clip possibly a crane or heron. The lock pendent is inset with a pierced jade stylized butterfly, the back decorated with a repousse Qilin with birds, foliates, dragon and deity. Tests silver. Total weight 80gms. Necklace length 62cms. Lock 7cms long x 1cm deep x 5cms wide.

18th / 19th century Qing dynasty large elaborate Chinese silver marriage necklace with hard stone turquoise and carnelian beads with central butterfly pendent symbolising everlasting love. This is linked by three silver chains to eternal knots closed by two further butterfly pendants and with carnelian beads with silver filigree cones. Each are beset by two tassels each with a silver butterfly encasing a turquoise stones with a further twin chain tassels linked by chased flowers terminating with silver bells. Weight 192 gms Length 90cms excluding butterfly and tassels. Length of butterfly including tassels 12cms x 6cms wide.

19th century Qing dynasty Chinese handmade silver necklace hung with large repousse amulet pendant of Maitreya / Laughing Buddha holding a carp, strung with five tassels of alternating carnelian beads and silver pomegranates . The chain being decorated with hard stone turquoise and carnelian beads. Tests for silver. Weight 83gms. Chain length 88cms excluding pendant. Pendant length 11cms x width 5.5cms.

A pair of 9 ct gold earrings, screw backs, set with pearls, together with a seed pearl and green stone set rectangular brooch, three pairs of earrings, scarf pin and hollow metal mourning brooch (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The 9 ct gold screw back pearl earrings are in good order. The seed pearl set brooch also. The scarf clip is in good condition with one very minor dent to the rear. The oval brooch has a dent to the top and is dirty. The three pairs of earrings are dirty but undamaged.
