London 1865 New Blackfriers Bridge Committee Members Wand Finial. An extremely rare example believed carried by Mr J. Parker a Committee member of the New Bridge at the ceremony of the laying of the foundation stone by the Mayor of London 1865. The finial is of silver plate, depicting the Arms of the City of London resting on the New Blackfriers bridge. The shaft is engraved “BRIDGE HOUSE ESTATES COMMITTEES J.
