An 18 carat gold monted ladies dress ring with central oval cabouchon cut opal within a band of fifteen small diamonds, approx 3.2 g overall, together with another opal and diamond dress ring and a pair of opal drop earrings CONDITION REPORTS Earrings weigh approx 2.3g and 2.2 cm total length - are un-marked. One of the opal earrings has a small crack/chip to the main body and the diamonds have chips to them. Single opal ring weighs approx 3.1g total and is stamped "18 carat" and with a letter "P". Opal is dirty with a matt finish and has some slight scratches. Diamonds have various chips and scratches as well as some inclusions. Three stone ring weighs approx 3.4g. Opals have a dull matt finish with some surface scratches. Diamonds have chips, internal flaws, etc. All items have general wear and tear and are in need of a good clean. We are not qualified gemologists so suggest viewing in person or seeking alternative opinion on clarity of stones and colour.
Two circa 1900 shell cameo brooches, two black enamel and seed pearl dedcorated mourning brooches and a gold coloured oval brooch and single jet set ear stud CONDITION REPORTS Larger cameo is cracked. The backing has been broken. Has had repairs. Approx 6 cm long. Brooch in larger mount has some cracking / flaking to the cameo and some discolouration, etc to the back. The mount itself has had repairs and adjustments. Has wear, tarnishing, etc. Approx 5.5 cm including mount. Cameo approx 3.5 cm. Black mourning brooch with column to the centre and circular pearls - several of the pearls are damaged and one is missing entirely. Dents, etc, to the mount. Possible repair to the back. The other mourning brooch has flaking to the pearls and wear to the mounts. Probable replacement pin. Two of the flower heads appear to be damaged. Gold brooch has tarnishing and appears to have been repaired. The centre is coming away from the mount. Several small holes. Possible replacement pin. Earring has surface scratches and some small chips. One stone is an odd colour. All items have wear and tear conducive with age and use. See images for more details.
