A garnet single stone yellow metal ring, the cushion shaped mixed cut stone, 13mm x 11mm, in four claw setting, to a plain band stamped '18CT', 4.6g gross, finger size O CONDITION REPORT: The stone has a few natural inclusions visible under a 10x lens. Although appearing crisp to the naked eye there is a small amount of wear to the facet edges, with a tiny natural inclusion or chip next to one of the edge facets on the top, there is a natural flaw or chip to the girdle on a shorter edge by one of the claws and one of the corners has a very small chip to it. Two of the claws to one side are scratched and the claw next to the corner of the stone which is chipped is very slightly damaged.
Six 19th century and later gold and silver brooches, comprised of a Scottish silver cloak brooch, 6.3cm long, a Chinese carved agate oval scarf clip, 3.2cm long, a silver gilt paste set bird brooch, and a Victorian hollow gold and pink topaz openwork scroll brooch, 3cm long, and two amethyst paste set brooches CONDITION REPORT: If Carnelian clip - With sprung clip. Stamped 'China' to the underside of the clip and stamped four times with a symbol which looks like a house and could possibly be the Chinese character for gold?. Gilt worn to the reverse. Scottish cloak brooch - With hallmarks of Queen Victoria's head, thistle and maker's mark M.C. Bird Brooch - Stamped 'Sterling'. Three clear paste stones missing. Blue stone with chip under a claw and sight wear. 5cm across. Topaz set brooch - With soldered repairs to the back and additional gold plated panels added. Oval amethyst paste brooch - Mount worn and repaired and facets on stone rubbed, 2.4cm wide. Square amethyst paste set brooch - Stamped 'T+H' to the reverse. Stone with wear to the facets, 2.4cm across

An Art Deco style ruby and diamond dress ring, the central cushion-shaped mixed cut ruby approximately 2.1 carats, in yellow millegrain setting within two rows of pave set diamonds, in white setting, set to a plain yellow shank, 4.3g, finger size N CONDITION REPORT: Condition very good - bright and clean with no damage or repairs. There is a large natural inclusion visible within the ruby. Two natural flaws visible through magnification on the surface of the stone on side facets.

There is also a small chip to an amethyst by a claw setting.

An 18 carat gold band set with single old cut diamond, approximately 0.30 carats, the shank stamped '18', 6.2g, finger size N 1/2 CONDITION REPORT: No date mark. Stamped '18' and 'AP'. Rub-over mount slightly worn above and below the stone. Setting makes it hard to grade but no large inclusions visible and stone in good order.

One claw is missing around the sapphire. The synthetic sapphire measures 7.9mm long, 5.82mm wide and 3.38mm deep (approx 1.35 carats). There is a tiny chip to the top of the stone on a facet edge by the table.

An early 20th century platinum and diamond two-stone cross over ring, the rectangular cushion-cut diamonds calculated as approximately 2.2 carats and 2 carats, in coronet setting to a plain band, finger size N, boxed CONDITION REPORT: Diamond One - Measures Length 7.5mm, Width 6.98mm, Depth 5.5mm. Approximate colour J, clarity VS as has one tiny pin prick visible through the table facet under 10 x magnification. Knife edge girdle with some nibbles to the edge, and very small culet. Displays slight florescence under UV light. Diamond Two - Measures Length 7.4mm, Width 6.93mm, Depth 5.13mm. Approximate colour J, clarity VVS. A 19th century amethyst riviere necklace, comprised of 25 foil backed graduated stones, in pinched gilt settings, 40cm long CONDITION REPORT: All stones have an RI of 1.54-1.56 (Quartz), except the centre stone with the pendant link which has an RI of 1.62 with no birefringence. The stone is also chipped and contains a small plain if minute bubbles. Stones vary in hues with some when viewed from the side appearing very pale. The foil backed setting is more visible with these stones although it remains purple. On close inspection there are a few small repairs to the links. One mount with obvious solder repair. The stones vary in depth.
