A colour change sapphire and diamond ring, the oval mixed-cut sapphire, weighing 11.04 carats, claw set between trios of marquise-cut diamonds, to graduated brilliant-cut diamond shoulders, total diamond weight approximately 0.63 carat, ring size N½. £2,000-£3,000 --- Accompanied by a report from GIA stating that the sapphire is of Sri Lankan origin with no indications of heating. Report number. 6214580845, dated 7 April 2021. Condition Report The sapphire is a pale to medium violetish-blue hue changing to purple. With numerous rutile, fluid and minute fissure inclusions visible to the unaided eye, giving the stone a slightly cloudy appearance in some lights. The sapphire sounds ever so slightly loose in its setting. The diamonds are bright and lively with good scintillation. Gross weight 6.10gm.

A Medieval late 13th century gold and sapphire set stirrup ring, the hoop of ‘D’ shaped cross-section, the yellow gold ring with raised triangular-shaped bezel centred at the apex with a cabochon sub-triangular shaped sapphire, diameter 20mm, width 4mm, ring size approximately R. £1,800-£2,200 --- Provenance: This ring was found by a metal detectorist at Tydd-St-Mary in the South Holland district of South Lincolnshire in 2021. It has been recorded on the Portable Antiquities Scheme database Ref: CAM-7846E0 and disclaimed as Treasure. The parish church at Tydd-St-Mary dates from the 12th century and is dedicated to Saint Mary. Condition Report The ring is in very fine condition with minor wear to the outside. The sapphire is securely set sitting proud of the bezel. There is a small chip to the centre of the stone. Weight 5.41gm.

A mid 19th century hardstone cameo brooch, finely carved to depict the Roman Goddess Ceres in profile, her hair intertwined with wheat husks, set within a collet mount above a white enamelled border and edged with applied ropetwist detail, glazed locket compartment verso, with hinged pendant fitting, with case, the inner silk bearing label reading ‘WARWICK Jeweller & Engraver 124 Regent Street’, dimensions 5.8 x 4.8cm. £1,000-£1,500 --- Ceres was the Roman goddess of agriculture. She was also the goddess of fertility, wheat, and motherly love. Her Greek counterpart is Demeter. Condition Report Case probably unassociated with the pendant, although of contemporary period. The locket back glass possibly later replaced as now edged with rose-gold border. Small later rose-gold loop attached to the original hinged pendant fitting. The cameo in overall very good condition. Small natural linear striation within the hardstone visible to the lower right background - but appears part of the natural variations of the stone. White enamel detailing in very good condition, no visible looses. Gross weight 51.9gm.

Repairs to the black stone plinths both middle and base sections. Chips and nibbles to the marble sections. The obelisk doesn't sit centrally on the bottom black stone plinth.
