A collection of vintage 20th Century brooches to include a group of 19th Century mother of pearl gaming tokens, a silver hallmarked Art Nouveau enamelled brooch, a guilloche black pool tie pin, a Renaissance style red stone brooch, Scottie dog brooches, a mid selection of mid Century coloured stone brooches etc.
Two Chinese soapstone sculpture: one carved as a standing girl holding a rabbit and wearing a celestial scarf, 24 cm high; the other carved as a cockerel and hen beside flowering peony, 18 cm high. Both late Qing Dynasty or later (2). Please note that some areas of wear or deterioration to the stone; some extremity loss , degradation or chipping.
A green jade applique, carved as a flower arrangement in a vase, 7 cm high; together with five other stone carvings, comprising: a soapstone seal; a lotus dish, 12 cm; a figure of a standing girl, 14.5 cm high; a small elephant 10 cm long; and a bowenite bowl, nearly 11 cm diameter (6). Please note that this is a group lot where condition may vary from object to object. Some damage, deterioration and inclusions extant; the bowl chipped .
A wood netsuke, carved as a recumbent goat with its torso and head curved slightly towards the left; the himotoshi formed by a gap between the front and rear left hooves; about 4.5 cm long the base inscribed with two worn kanji, and a kao; together with a green stone figure of a ram or goat, 6 cm long (2)Provenance: The Property of a Lady. From a Private UK. Collection. As an animal of the Japanese Zodiac, the goat is a popular subject for netsuke carving. Compare for example a similar figure, carved by Tanaka Minko during the Edo Period, offered by Bonhams, London on 8-5-2016 (lot 29).. Please note that there are areas of damage to this lot; the signature of the netsuke, notably, is severely worn. The eyes of the wooden netsuke are carved into the wood.

To include a pink quartz bird feeder, a tiger eye stone bird feeder, a green-glazed porcelain bird feeder and a jade pot on wooden stand.
