An unusual 19th Century agate mounted rectangular tea caddy: the Dendritic agate panels within a brass line-inlaid frame, the hinged lid with gilt-brass handle, 24cm wide [interior fittings lacking).*Note Dendritic agate is a greyish [usually] chalcedony with tree or fern-like inclusions caused by traces of iron or manganese. It was a favourite of Carl Faberge and other jewellers in Russia where it was considered to be a stone of prosperity and longevity.

Other antique gold ring is also unmarked, set with three rubies - the centre stone does not fit the mount properly. Weight approximately 1.1g. The cameo oval pendant has cracks and damage to the brown background but the side profile itself is in good condition. The glass bangles are in overall good condition.

A metal document tube , inscribed in gilt lettering 'Tower Bridge contract no.1 contract drawings', 72cm long Construction of Tower Bridge, London, started in 1886, the first stone being laid by Albert, Prince of Wales. Sir John Wolfe Barry was appointed engineer and Sir Horace Jones the architect, and the project took eight years. It was officially opened on 30 June 1894 by the Prince and Princess of Wales.
