A 19TH CENTURY MALACHITE SEALThe handle composed of polished sections of malachite, to an oval bloodstone matrix carved with Calverton HallSize/dimensions: 7.3cm longGross weight: 24.2 grams Calverton is a Village in Nottinghamshire, Calverton Hall was demolished in 1961.Condition Report: There is a subtle repair to the base of the malachite near the matrix, where one of the panels has fractured and put back in place, it is not a recent repair, and could be from manufacture, but there is a slight flaring to the gold setting near the fracture. There are another couple of possible fractures, but these could be faults in the stone. The polished handle has a smooth surface. Condition Report Disclaimer

Two cannon balls, one iron the other stone recovered from the Church Rocks Wreck, Teignmouth, Devon, each approximately 8 cm across and on later wooden stands, with certificate of authenticity and information supplied by Teignmouth Museum QTY: (2)NOTE:The cannon balls were recovered from the Church Rocks Wreck in Teignmouth, Devon in 1977. The wreck is believed to be a Venetian Galley which was rowed by 300 slaves and sunk in the early 16th century. The wreck was discovered by Simon Burton a Teignmouth resident.
