Leader was a Worcestershire artist, and during the 1860s to mid 1870s lived in Whittington, a village just outside Worcester and not far from Bransford Bridge on the river Teme. The charming wooden bridge no longer exists, although the stone buttress supports still stand, obscured by the riverbank. There is a concrete replacement bridge standing today. Lot offered without reserve.
