A 19th century Scottish horn and silver mounted vinaigrette, the hinged lid with pierced gilt hinged grille, inset with a facet cut stone, suspended with a chain and mounted with a pin back, 6cm longOverall condition looks to be complete, but dirty. The lip of the pierced hinged cover is eroded away, so has a rough edge when open, but still closes ok. The main hinged cover is not tight when closed.
THE DA VINCI CODE (2006) - "Job 38:11" Stone and Two Rose Line MarkersA "Job 38:11" stone and two Rose Line markers from Ron Howard's mystery thriller The Da Vinci Code. Silas (Paul Bettany) tracked the Rose Line markers to the Saint-Sulpice church in search of a keystone that would lead him to the Holy Grail. Instead, he found a different stone, on which the Bible verse "Job 38:11" was engraved, which he then used to kill Sister Sandrine (Marie-Françoise Audollent). Robert Langdon (Tom Hanks) also followed the Rose Line markers during the film's climactic scene. The stone is made of resin, and has additional engravings across its octagonal base. Quaffles were seen throughout the eight-film series, most notably during Quidditch matches and Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, when Gryffindor captain Oliver Wood (Sean Biggerstaff) taught Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) the game's rules. This Quaffle has a foam interior covered in a burgundy faux-leather shell. A Hogwarts crest is engraved on the Quaffle's surface, which also features inverted circular panels. The crest exhibits a small amount of gold-coloured residue, indicating that it was initially produced with this design feature. JUMANJI (1995) - Alan Parrish's (Robin Williams) Screen-matched SFX KnifeAlan Parrish's (Robin Williams) screen-matched SFX knife from Joe Johnston's adventure film Jumanji. Alan wielded his knife when he returned to his family home after 26 years of being trapped inside the supernatural board game of the title. This knife's handle can be screen-matched to the scene where he waved the blade at the lion that was released with him, and the weapon ended up embedded in the floor. The knife features a metal blade covered in grey-painted resin designed to resemble carved stone, and a resin handle hand-painted to resemble worked ivory.
