Attributed to Frederick Edward McWilliam - a carved hardwood maquette, raised on a plinth base, circa 1940-1951, unsigned, total height approx 18cm. Note: a similar larger Hornton stone sculpture, titled `Head in Green and Brown`, was shown at `"Sculpture"`, an open air exhibition at Battersea Park May to September 1951`, illustrated as number 27 in the exhibition catalogue, a copy of which is included with the lot.
