Some inclusions visible with a loupe. There is a chip to the girdle which is partially hidden by the rub-over setting. Sapphires in good condition and well matched. Setting in good condition. Shank not hallmarked. There is an inscription which reads '0.81', possibly referring to the size of the diamond. Minor signs of wear. The ring is probably fairly recent but good quality. Total gross weight 2.7 grams. Diameter 10.5mm

Victorian gold (18ct) diamond three stone gypsy ring with three old cut diamonds in gypsy setting (Birmingham 1884). Ring size Q CONDITION REPORT Very good condition. Diamonds are all well matched stones that are lively and bright, with no obvious draw of colour and appear 'white'. Clarity is good with only very minor inclusions visible with a x10 loupe. No inclusions visible to the naked eye. Centre stone - is not round and quite irregular. It measures very approximately 4.9mm diameter and 3mm deep. There is a very small chip to the girdle, possibly an indented natural. One claw may require attention and the stone feels slightly loose in the setting. The same applies to one of the smaller stones. Each measuring approximately 3.1mm diameter x 2mm deep. Signs of re-sizing to the shank which has removed some of the hallmarks. '18' Town assay mark and date letter are very clear
