Bronze fire-giltTibet or China , 17 to 18th centuryWeight: 721 gramsDimensions: 14 x 7 x 4 cmStanding Bodhisattva attached to a plinth, fragments missing from ankles, arms and crown. The Boddhisattva's physiognomy is very female with a slender waist and wide hips, dressed in flowy garment tied around the hip with belts and chains. The body is adorned with various jewellery, large circular ear pendants with stone inlay decorate the elongated earlobes and an originally five-pointed tiara with the hair chignon in the center on the head. The nose is slightly damaged, the expression is benevolent with a tender smile. The back of the statue shows the thin hairlines and garment's details.

The robe is covering his left shoulder and lower body. With his hands he is forming the dharmachakra mudra, the teaching of the dharma. The face is oval with tiny features, a light smile and the eyes are closed. The eyebrows are shaped in high arches with a stone inlet dot in the center. Elongated earlobes frame the face, tiny black curls cover the head and ushnisha topped by a diamond.

His right foot is resting on a protruding lotus flower. His right hand is resting on his right knee holding a rosary while the other hand is grasping a script raised in front of the chest. The hair is done up in a high chignon and an aureole frames his head. The eyes are closed and the lips are smiling, the shape of the nose is strong. Besides the deity we see various animals and another adorant.
Bronze with Gems inlayIndia , 18th centuryWeight: 991 gramsDimensions: 12 x 7 x 7 cmGanesha, the remover of obstacles and one of the most popular deities in Hinduism, shown seated on a lotus base attached to a square platform with decorated sides. The deity is sitting casually next to his vahana, the mouse or rat who is holding a sweet ball in its tiny hands. Ganesha has four arms, two at the back are raised and hold a noose and a goad. The front right hand is raised with the open palm facing us and a stone inlay, abhaya mudra. The other hand's palm is facing the sky, as if holding something. Possibly the ball of sweet balls has been lost from there. His trunk is curled to his right. On his belly we see the serpent which he used to tie his belly up after he ate too much sweets and it burst. His ears are small and elegant and he wears a crown.

Krishna's right foot is casually crossed over his left, touching the earth with his toes. He is wearing a short dhoti with floral print and a thin scarf around the shoulders. He is holding a long slender flute to his lips, his face looks gentle with small features and a stone inlay as third eye. The elongated earlobes are adorned with small jewellery, the hair is done up in a simple bun.

The Buddha is showing the abhaya and varada mudra with his hands. We see three necklines underneath the oval face, the fine lips and long elegant nose, thin eyebrows and open eyes with stone inlay. Elongated earlobes frame the face. Small dots as curls cover the head and cranial protuberance. Viewed from the back the garment shows no stripes.
Bronze fire-giltTibet , 18th centuryWeight: 1949 gramsDimensions: 22 x 20 x 10 cmHevajra is an important yidam in Tantric or Vajrayana Buddhism. Here he is shown with his consort Nairatmya in yab-yum position standing on a large lotus petal with beaded rim and stone inlay. They are framed by a large aureole of skulls and flames and his head is framed by a smaller one of skulls and petals. Hevajra is standing wide-legged on two bodies holding ritual objects. He is said to wear a necklace of fifty dry skulls and a crown of five human skulls. With one pair of arms he is cradling his consort to this body while the other ten arms are fanning out each holding a different object like a severed head, a khatvanga, a noose, a kartika knife, a drum and a hatchet. He has four gruesome heads with three eyes and four fangs. His high chignon is decorated with a vajra, the sun and moon. He is embracing the consort while holding a lotus flower and she is holding on to his neck, her legs wrapped around the waist. She is dressed in a waist belt and jewellery with stone inlay and a skull tiara on her head. Looking at the backside, the aureoles are flat but the bodies show the same rich details as from the front.

With his left hand he is holding the gem-spewing mongoose. Jambhala is the God of Wealth and adorned with various jewellery and a crown. His eyes are bulging but expression calm.

Usually when depicted with lots of jewellery and noble clothing it is Buddha Amitayus, here cross-legged with hands resting in each other in his lap, possibly formerly holding something. Flanked by two lotus flowers and wearing rich jewellery with stone inlay. The expression is attentive and friendly, the high chignon encircled by a tiara. The backside of the statue shows less details.

One hand is resting on the right knee, the other is holding sweets which he is reaching for with his trunk. In his other hands he is holding his battle hatchet and a noose, his typical attributes. His head is decorated with a crown and the snake tied around his belly is visible.

We don’t have a gemmologist report, the stone is 7mm x 6mm by 4mm deep, there are some inclusions, to my unqualified eye it is on the white side and clear.
