A platinum diamond set daisy cluster ring, size Q, stamped "Plat" (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The centre stone is approximately 4 mm in diameter. We do not have any colour or clarity information. The smaller stones are approximately 3 mm in diameter. We cannot see any significant inclusions in the stones but the ring is very dirty. The stones do not appear yellow and seem fairly crisp and bright. There does not appear to be any damage to the settings or the stones.
A diamond two stone crossover ring, with white gold setting and yellow gold shank, each diamond in excess of 1 carat, size G. NOTE - The ring is sold with an Insurance Valuation Certification for £8,455. The Insurance Certificate states the stones are VS quality and LM colour grade, brilliant cut (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The valuation certificate was prepared in July 1994 by Douglas Jewellers, Keswick, Cumbria, CA12 5DD. The diamonds are approximately 6.5 mm each in diameter. Each stone is 8 claw set and appears solid in its mount. The ring shank is in generally good condition with very little sign of wear.
