Autograph Book as used by Walter Rowan, a life-long steward who joined the GWR and worked the Paddington - Swansea Restaurant Car Trains. He became Chief Steward and retired in 1966. A substantial album of 80 autographs of actors and celebrities of the time with that of Jean Simmonds illustrated. The most prominent is undoubtedly that of Ronald Reagan, who was of course an established actor long before becoming President of the USA. A potted history with image of the original owner accompanies.
