A Chinese pale celadon and grey jade archaistic vase: of flattened baluster form with simple loop handles, finely carved overall with taotie masks and designs, the stone with darker grey and russet inclusions, Qing Dynasty, 15cm.Provenance Martin Grassnick [1917-2020] and thence by family descent. Martin Grassnick was a German architect, architectural historian and monument conservator. He lived most of his life in Mainz, finally moving to Baden-Baden where he died in 2020. He was a keen collector and primarily after the end of WWII, acquired many objects during numerous travels to Italy, Iran, China, Japan and India.

A 22 carat yellow gold wedding, surrounded by a pearl and red stone ring, missing stones, shank mishapen, ring size M1/2, gross 1.9g; a 9 carat yellow gold teardrop pendant, on a yellow metal trace link chain stamped 9ct; a yellow metal letter A pendant, on a yellow metal trace link chain, both stamped 9ct or 9K; a heart pendant on a yellow metal chain stamped 9K; a yellow metal pin brooch, leaf decoration, stamped 9ct; another with seed pearls, pad stamped 9ct; and a yellow metal bar brooch with green stone, stamped 9ct;
19th century diamond spray brooch with five-petal tremblant flowerhead, on tied stem, with old and mixed-cut brilliants, in gold fronted with silver, 48mm.CONDITION REPORT: One diamond missing to the stem. Gross weight 16g. Large stone is approximately 4mm. The smallest stone only 1 point roughly. The tremble/flowerhead mount revolves around three-quarters. The stones on the claw settings are not raised. One stone could be lacking to the dug-in claw setting (but difficult to see). There are marks/scratches to the stones and some are tinged with yellow. Due to the setting, it is very difficult to assess the condition of the diamonds. There are surface marks and age-related wear to the back.
Unusual Victorian ring with foiled emerald, 8mm, in a circle of pearls, 15mm, in gold, '9ct', size O.CONDITION REPORT: Some of the claw points are needing replaced. There are age-related surface marks/wear to the mount. There is staining to the stone also. There are inclusions/scratches to the stone. There is a prominent mark with damage to one end. There are further age-related wear/marks to the underside of the ring.
Diamond solitaire ring with old-cut brilliant, approximately .75ct, 'platinum', size N.CONDITION REPORT: There is a small hole/mark to the stone at the claw at 7 o'clock. There are also inclusions and a prominent scratch to the stone and other minor scratches. There is one tip lacking to the claws. The stones on the shoulders are dug into the mounts and are flat, not raised. There is staining to the shank.
