No Number Identity; Mullion Stone – It is impossible to know from where on the Central Tower this stone was retrieved. This stone would have made up part of a mullion pillar. These can be seen quite clearly from the ground as the shafts all over the parapet. The distinctive cross shape on the stone would have been filled with lead to fix the stone in its place.
