Art Deco diamond and sapphire intaglio brooch depicting mother and child holding torches, 37mmCondition report: One stone is detached but present. The intaglio is possibly glass rather than crystal, it does have a small corner missing and other minor chips around the edge. The intaglio has light surface scratches. The coloured stones are not sapphires/possibly synthetic stones or onyx? and are very dark but present with a red translucency when a light in shone (see extra images). There is a mark/maker's mark on the pin which is a diamond shape lozenge with an arrow and two initials, possibly GT. the setting is probably platinum and has minor distortions and evidence of solder repairs. Weighs approximately 6.4 grams.
Late Victorian cat’s eye and diamond ring with an oval cat’s eye cabochon flanked by two old cut diamonds in carved claw setting on yellow metal shankCondition report: Ring is unmarked and the shank has been cut. The cat’s eye is possibly not original and a replacement stone. Centre stone measures approximately 7.9mm long x 6mm wide is slightly wobbly in the setting and the claws are worn. One diamond has more inclusions that the other, visible with a x10 loupe. Would benefit strongly from a clean. Measures approximately- 4mm long x 3.9mm wide x 2.25mm deep & 3.6mm long x 3.9mm wide x 3.3mm deep Weight 3.4 grams
Diamond single stone ring with a brilliant cut diamond, estimated to weigh approximately 1.60cts, in eight claw setting on platinum shank. Ring size LCondition report: Accompanied by insurance valuations from the 1970s, stating the diamond estimated weight- 1.85cts and estimated colour- white SI. However, using a presidium guage we have estimated the diamond to be less. The diamond measures approximately 7.75-7.85mm diameter x approximately 4.52mm deep and therefore calculated/estimated to weigh approximately 1.6cts. The stone is very clean with no obvious inclusions when viewed with a 10X loupe, estimated clarity is approximately VS2/SI1 but has not been examined out of the setting, the diamond has a very slight hint of colour, estimated colour grade is approximately K-M. The scintillation is very good and it's a lively stone.Shank not hallmarked, stamped ‘PLAT’ and weighs 3.9 grams

Size NCondition report: Ring has rubbed marks which are now illegible. Weight 5.7 gramsAll five opals appear to be in good condition with no visible cracks, chips or crazing. Good, lively colours. The gold setting is also in good condition, the claws all appear to be present, a couple slightly worn but the stones are all still firmly in place. Would benefit from a clean.

A small fourteen coin cabinet with brass corner fitments and a plaque inscribed 'These 14 coins were placed in a cavity in the corner stone of the Pawnbrokers Almhouses at Forest Gate laid by The Right Honourable The Lord Mayor Sir James Duke Bart M.P. on the 22nd Day of June 1849 and were taken out by the Treasurer A.J. Melhuish Esq. when the buildings were pulled down, Henry A. Attenborough'. Together with a covering letter relating to the subsequent sale of the coins signed by A.J. Melhuish and dated 13 January 1901. The cabinet measures approximately 24cm in length, 16cm in width and 6½ cm in depth (1 coin cabinet)

Centre stone is scratched and chipped. Would benefit from a clean.Opal and emerald cluster- Overall good condition, claws all in tact. Opal does not appear to be chipped or cracked etc.Sapphire and diamond cluster- Would strongly benefit from a clean, otherwise appears to be in good condition. Ruby and diamond half eternity- couple of the claws seem to be worn and the ring would benefit from a clean, otherwise good.Single stone- flower head shape setting looks rather worn and scratched. Pearl cluster- some of the claws look worn. Pearls match nicely, overall good. Single pearl- some of the claws are slightly worn down. Underneath of the pearl has a drilled hole.
Four gold diamond and ruby rings to include old cut diamond three stone ring, size L½, 9ct gold ruby and diamond three stone ring, size M, 9ct gold diamond cluster with pierced shoulders, size R and 9ct gold ruby and diamond flower head ring, size NCondition report: Three 9ct gold rings weigh 5.5 grams in total - Diamond cluster has quite a thing band and has signs of possible repair. Ruby flower head is in good condition. Ruby and diamond three stone ring- both diamonds have inclusions. The claw setting is very warn and has some claws completely missing. Diamond three stone- mark is rubbed, but possibly 18ct gold. Weighs 1.6 grams. All three stones are quite heavily included when viewed through a x10 loupe, particularly the centres stone. Setting is also very worn.
