PALE CELADON JADE CUP QING DYNASTY, 18TH-19TH CENTURY 清 青白玉酒杯 rising from a short splayed foot to steep sides, the stone of pale celadon colour with brownish tinge(5cm diameter)Provenance: Private Scottish collection, from the contents of Lowood House, Melrose. Sitting by the banks of the River Tweed near Melrose, Lowood has been the home of the Hamilton family since 1947 and the eclectic collection offered on 6 October 2021 at Lyon and Turnbull was amassed over the past two centuries by two Scottish lowland families: the Crum Ewings and the Hamiltons.

A three stone diamond ring, the central old European cut diamond weighing approx. 0.91 carats, the two either side weighing approx. 0.48 carats each, band marked '18ct PLA', gross wt. 3.49g, size T.There are no visible inclusions by eye, the diamonds are secure in the claws, there is no visible chip or scratch to the diamonds, no visible wear to the shank or claws, hallmark is visible by eye "18ct PLA".
A diamond and sapphire cluster ring, the central oval cut stone weighing approx. 2.19 carats, surround by sixteen modern round brilliant cut diamonds weighing approx. 1.60 carats in total, hallmarked 18ct white gold, sponsor's mark 'DOM', Birmingham, late 20th/early 21st century, gross wt. 5.66g, size O. Condition - sold without certificate, however, the sapphire is pale to medium blue in colour, visible colour zoning, slight chip to girdle and nibbles to facet edges, minor inclusions visible with 10x loupe only to some of the diamonds, no visible yellowness, little wear to band.

Condition - good, sold without certificate, however, the diamonds appear without any visible yellowness and minor inclusions visible with 10x loupe only, band a little thin towards back but not severe, no evidence of re-sizing, minor abrasions to sapphire along a coupl of facet edges.
A single stone diamond solitaire ring, the bezel set Old European cut stone weighing approx. 0.43 carats, band marked '18ct PLAT', gross wt. 2.10g, size K. Condition - wear around bezel, band a little thin but not severe, general wear, sold without certificate the diamond is bright and lively, no visible yellowness, appears loupe clean.
A diamond cluster ring, the central blue round cut diamond weighing approx. 2.06 carats, mounted in four claws above three marquis cut diamonds and diamond set shoulders, white metal band indistinctly marked, gross wt. 6.73g, size J. Condition - there shoulder be four marquis diamonds but one is missing, another stone missing to shoulder, central stone with chip to girdle, general wear to band, sold without certificate and stone has not been lab tested, it's highly probably that it's artificially coloured treated.
