An 18ct gold and platinum collet set diamond and sapphire ring. Set with three round cut sapphires, the centre stone 0.15ct approx., size N, 2.5g.One diamond has a crack, not visible to the eye. The collet mounts on the end sapphires are worn and rubbed. The sapphires have light scratches to the facets.
An early 20th-century gold (tests 9ct) blue sapphire set hinged bangle. The 15 multi-cut sapphires in a claw setting, the central oval stone measuring 6 x 4.1mm, the end sapphires of cushion cut measuring 4 x 3.8mm, inner measurments of the bangle 48 x 58mm, the inside of the bangle is base metal, total weight 14g.

A fine Victorian natural no heat Burmese ruby set six-stone half hoop ring, in high carat gold. The six mixed cushion cut rubies in an enclosed setting and total weight of 2.66ct, the largest ruby 5 x 4.6mm approximately, with foliate scroll carved and pierced shoulders, size Q, 4.2g. AnchorCert report no. 314958/20065638 stating that the stones are natural Myanmar Burmese rubies with no heat treatment.One end stone has a dark carbon inclusion on the surface running into the stone. There is a smaller pin prick inclusion on the surface running into the stone. There is a white blemish which could be a crack. The opposite end stone has a surface pin prick with visible inclusions. Four other stones are generally good with no visible inclusions to the eye. All stones have some facet scratches. The metal around the stones is worn and rubbed. The shank is good.

The two cushion cut diamonds each of 0.70ct approximately, the estimated colour is H, clarity SI, the central oval opal measuring 8.3 x 7mm, the opals displaying many colours including red, the carved setting with 14 small diamond points, size Q 1/2, 6.9g.

There is cloudy inclusions to the centre of the stone, and needle inclusions can also be seen within it. Possibly glass filled.

The oval cut stone measuring 8.5 x 6.2, depth 3.3mm, within a collet setting with pierced sides, size O 1/2, 2.6g.We do not test for treatment on stones and the buyer must satisfy themselves as to whether the stones are natural, and their origin.The stone is included throughout and has a feather inclusion under the table. Fine crack on the table. These can be seen by the naked eye.
A Victorian 18ct diamond and sapphire five stone hinged bangle. The principle Old European cut diamond of 0.20ct and two further of 0.10ct each approximately, graded as VS2-SI1, colour H-J, the two sapphires of 0.24ct and 0.29ct, the back with engraved dedication dated '26 MARCH 1893', 8.4g, with John pass insurance appraisal.

Each round brilliant cut diamond of 1.00ct total estimated weight, estimated clarity VS2, estimated colour G, in an eight claw setting, the centre rectangular cut ruby of 2.60ct estimated weight, measuring 8.1 x 7.3 x 4.9mm, in a four prong setting, width 51mm, 6.9g.This ruby doesn't come with a certificate. We believe this to be a natural ruby but we do not know whether this stone has been heat treated. There is a small line fracture under the table of the stone. Not noticeable to the naked eye. There is a tiny facet chip, just noticeable to the eye. The stone is translucent and lively. The diamonds are bright, white and lively.
