A Chinese polished bloodstone jasper egg Qing/Republic period The mottled dark red stone with iridescent green streaks polished into an egg form, with hardwood stand, 5.5cm, weight 90g, together with a malachite 'scholars rock' brush washer, Qing Dynasty, the mottled green stone carved and polished as a rock formation with shallow dished top, with associated hardwood stand, 7.5cm across, a carved and polished malachite figure of a Buddhist lion with associated hardwood stand, 6cm long, and a carved malachite figure of a guardian lion and cub with hardwood stand , 5.5cm long. (4) Egg: Surface a little dull and would benefit from polishing. No discernible damage. Malachite brush washer: Stone weight 206g. Fine hairline fissure. Some signs of age throughout. A Chinese dark green jade disc, Bi Warring States The opaque dark green stone with dark brown and cloudy inclusions of even thickness, the surface of both sides worked with 'comma' scrolls in a hexagonal grid within single line borders. 13.5cm dia. Weight: 161g. Inner circle 4.4cm dia. Thickness approximately 4mm. Three small chips to rim edge. Nibbling to inner ring edge. Natural fissure across width.
