Lots 143-207 Property of a prominient West Country collector *Emily Young (b.1951) 'CONTEMPLATIVE FIGURE WITH EGG AND BOWL' Stone 88cm wide 120cm deep 102cm high Provenance: purchased from the Fine Art Society. Emily Young FRBS has been called 'Britain's greatest living stone sculptor' and her sculpture is held in many public as well as private collections. Some of her permanent installations can be seen in St. Paul's Churchyard and Salisbury Cathedral. Young's 'Lunar Disc 1' was installed at Loyola University Chicago in 2011.
