Signed in the stone. - On the occasion of the centenary commemoration of Hamburg's liberation from French dominion. - Stamped fee stamp in lower left margin. - Backed tear in upper margin outside the image. Further short tear in upper margin. A little bit creased. Colours very well preserved.

Zoologica Specifica - - Gertrud Starck. Schraubenziege. 1939. Bronze mit dunkelbraun-schwarzer Patina. H 43 (mit Sockel 60 cm) x B 13 x T 35 cm. Auf der Plinthe signiert mit "Gertrud Starck" sowie bezeichnet mit "Markhor" und "Zoologischer Garten Berlin 1939". Fest montiert auf Steinsockel. - Etw. angestaubt, die Patina vereinzelt etw. ungleichmäßig bzw. leicht oxidiert. Insgesamt in guter Erhaltung. Markhor. Bronze with dark brown-blackish patina. Signed "Gertrud Starck" and inscribed "Markhor" and "Zoologischer Garten Berlin 1939" on the plinth. Firmly mounted on a stone base. - Somewhat dusty, the patina occasionally irregular or slightly oxidised. Altogether in fine condition.

Insgesamt in sehr gutem Zustand, die Farben leuchtend. - Dabei: Ein Plakat ("Frühling im Zoo") als Doublette. Collection of 3 posters relating to the Berlin Zoo. Each lithograph and offset lithograph in color on paper. Each signed in the stone, one poster additionally localized. - Contains: as listed above. - Due to paper delicate and evenly browned, partly with small tears in the margins. Altogether very well preserved, the colours bright. - Added: as mentioned above.
