THE LESLIE DAVIE COLLECTION OF JADE A white jade box lid or ruyi plaque carved with an immortal on a tree trunk boat, a bat flies above him, 11.5 x 13.4cm, possibly 18th or 19th century. (See illustration) Condition Report: From the front natural fissures in the stone can be seen, at the back there are slight chips. Several holes seem to have been drilled.
A fine yellow diamond ring with its certificate from the Gemological Institute of America, certificate number 2125830382, describes the stone as cut cornered, rectangular, modified, brilliant, measuring 7.71 x 5.81 x 3.77 1.54 cts. weight, natural fancy yellow of even distribution, clarity VVS2. The diamond is unmounted in presentation case.
