An 18ct gold opal and diamond oval cluster ring,with an oval cabochon opal, claw set to the centre. A border of brilliant cut diamonds, all claw set to a white gallery, yellow underbezel, split shoulders and plain shank. London 1976. Head 17.3 x 14.5mm, 6.21g.Finger size PCondition report: Light surface marks to the opal.Green tarnish between the claws.Wear to the lower half of the shank. Wearable but will need to be replaced in the future.Diamonds very dirty, but will clean up.Some scratches and marks to the surface of the opal under 10x magnification. Not noticeable to the naked eye.Settings appear secure.Light marks to the mount, wear at the base of the shank, but still wearable and not weak.12.52 x 9.50 x 2.95mm.Estimated as approximately 1.75ct - mount limitations apply.The opal is solid opal and cabochon cut - not faceted. Not a composite stone ie. a doublet or triplet.The diamonds are too dirty to grade, but probably SI1/SI2 P1 range, and we have to return items in the condition in which they were left, if unsold. Opals should be specialist cleaned and we do not have a workshop.

A cushion cut tanzanite with a stated weight of 4.38ct, four claw set with chevron claws to a plain collet, with a trilliant cut diamond, rub set to each shoulder, to a flat shank. Stated total diamond weight 0.40ct. London 2006. 6.58g.Finger size M½ LECondition report: Very minor light surface marks to the mount.Jewellers unsold stock. Has not been worn.Very small nibbles to the girdle on one side, visible under 10X magnification.
