A rare helmet and armour parts dating: 18th Centuryprovenance: ChinaSilver-plated, metallic skull of conical shape, decorated with beautiful, gilt brass mounts, at the top a plume-holder resting on a bulb-shaped, pierced base featuring a cabochon glass stone, small brim with pierced and engraved dragons, two more plaques depicting dragons near the central mount, this one too provided with a red glass cabochon; provided with fabric nape-guard and cheek-pieces (some damages and parts missing), lined with light blue silk, the external surface of polychrome fabric, with brass studs and one plaque. Together with two gilt brass mounts decorated en suite with the helmet, probably part of the same armour suite.dimensions: height elmo circa 55 cm.
