Some of the remaining claws show evidence of having been previously retipped.Wear to some of the platinum claws, and two claws have been bent at an angle.Solder joins visible at each shoulder, the half shank is possibly a later replacement.The ruby measures approximately 6.14 x 5.35 x 2.72mm. The diamonds measure approximately 4.5 x 3.0mm, estimated as approximately 0.40ct each. Some nibbles to the girdles of the diamonds.
