Tested as approximately 18ct gold and platinum, 2.67g.Finger size MThe ring tested as approximately 18ct gold with platinum claw to the diamonds.Some facet junction wear and scratches to the ruby.Claws to the ruby are worn - the centre claws and one of the edge claws missing entirely. Some of the remaining claws show evidence of having been previously retipped.Wear to some of the platinum claws, and two claws have been bent at an angle.Solder joins visible at each shoulder, the half shank is possibly a later replacement.The ruby measures approximately 6.14 x 5.35 x 2.72mm.
