General surface wear throughout but a perfectly wearable piece of jewellery.

The second chain, the toothpick actions works well, slight misshaping to a couple of the links, the main oval links are stamped, it is unfinished at one end, the T-bar is also stamped both with general surface wear throughout.

The ring is very dirty and would benefit from a good clean. All claws are present, with just minor rubbing to the tips of a couple of them and general wear to the band.

Two early 19th century yellow metal rings, one set with pink stones, the other with seed pearl and black stone crescent, largest size G, combined approx 2.8g.Additional InformationThe pear cut setting to the red stone ring is missing in parts and the other stone on the opposite shoulder is missing at the point. The seed pearl ring is missing some small black stones to the outer setting. The seed pearls are discoloured in parts and the central crescent shaped stone is scratched and worn in places. Both the rings are unmarked.

Looking at the back of the opal, there does appear to be a crack running through the stone. The diamonds are too small to comment on.

In good condition. The band has squared lower shoulders. The diamonds are facing up nicely, are well matched and in good order. The synthetic stone has minor surface wear but overall a very attractive ring in good condition.

A CHINESE CARVED JADE FIGURE OF A HORSE standing tethered to a post, whilst a crouching monkey raises a three-pronged branch, and another monkey sits on his back, approximately 13.5cm long 10cm high, with conforming pierced and carved wooden stand, decorated allover with prunus blossom. Provenance: Private family collection, acquired whilst grandparents were living in Shanghai in the 1920s. For comparative examples, see Christie's lot 1390 17th May 2013; and Bonhams lot 184 8th November 2018. The lot offered by us has a shorter post, an additional monkey on the horse's back, and is slightly larger Condition Report : There are cracks within the jade, but these are part of the structure of the stone, rather than damage as such. The lots sold by Christies and Bonhams featured a taller post which the horse is tethered to. The post for our lot stands about 3.5cm on top of the rock base which the monkey sits on. The top of the post is rounded and consistent with the overall finish of the carving - there are no signs of damage or loss. The horse sits well on the wooden stand. The stand itself is very finely carved and of good colour, though there is small loss to the top, near the horses tail, approximately 1cm x 3mm.
