A dagger dating: first quarter of the 19th Century provenance: Italy Straight, double-edged blade, slight fuller (some pitting) with floral engravings at the centre and the tang; white metallic ring-nut (a small restoration); leather-bound grip with silver covering, decorated with fretwork floral motifs, engraved foliage along the sides and the inscription "S. VRSVLA V. M."; cap of coloured stone. dimensions: length 29,5 cm.
A beautiful enamelled cutlery set dating: circa 1800 provenance: France The blade of the knife with mark; both pieces knotted at the base. Silver grips decorated with enamelled drops in white and pink on blue and green ground, featuring remains of filigree; on the top a chiselled stone. dimensions: length 18 - 17 cm.
A rare helmet and armour parts dating: 18th Century provenance: China Silver-plated, metallic skull of conical shape, decorated with beautiful, gilt brass mounts, at the top a plume-holder resting on a bulb-shaped, pierced base featuring a cabochon glass stone, small brim with pierced and engraved dragons, two more plaques depicting dragons near the central mount, this one too provided with a red glass cabochon; provided with fabric nape-guard and cheek-pieces (some damages and parts missing), lined with light blue silk, the external surface of polychrome fabric, with brass studs and one plaque. Together with two gilt brass mounts decorated en suite with the helmet, probably part of the same armour suite. dimensions: height elmo circa 55 cm.
A kandshar with jade hilt dating: second quarter of the 19th Century provenance: Indopersia Curved, double-edged, damask blade, with a central raiser, on one face two small, silver-inlaid cartouches with a small inscription in Arabic characters. Jade hilt decorated on each side with a row of small red, yellow and green diamond-cut stones (one stone missing on a side). dimensions: length 38,7 cm.
A kandshar dating: late 19th Century provenance: India Double-edged blade of lenticular section of damask featuring an arrow pattern; gilt bronze hilt, finely engraved with floral motifs and decorated with small turquoises; the pommel shaped as a horse head with eyes of ruby. Wooden scabbard with red velvet covering, gilt brass mounts decorated en suite. Small suspension ring with rope, three green stone pendants. dimensions: length 41 cm.
A fine enamelled kandshar dating: late 18th Century provenance: Indopersia Curved, double-edged, damask blade ribbed at the centre. Gilt copper hilt, entirely enamelled with fine, floral motifs on white ground, on the pommel a red cabochon stone. The scabbard en suite, with a small suspension loop featuring a signature in Arabic.
