DON'T GET ME WRONG: An unusual pair of vintage album pages individually signed by three cast members and the director of the British comedy film Don't Get Me Wrong (1937) comprising Max Miller (Wellington Lincoln), George E. Stone (Chuck), Olive Blakeney (Frankie) and Arthur B. Woods (director). All have signed in dark fountain pen inks and Miller has added the date 1936 in his hand, with Woods adding the film title Don't Get Me Wrong and the date, 17th May 1936, in his hand. Some very light, minimal age wear, VG, 2 Arthur B. Woods (1904-1944) English film director. One of Britain's most versatile and promising young directors, Woods put his career on hold to volunteer for service with the Royal Air Force during World War II, the only British film director to do so. As a navigator he was involved in the Battle of Britain although was killed on active service in a mid-air collision in 1944 at the young age of 39.
