A SUBSTANTIAL OPAL NECKLACE mounted in 15ct gold throughout with delicate multi claw crown settings. The largest opal has the dimensions of 11.6mm x 13.8mm x 4.1mm, with a further fourteen opals of decreasing size to the smallest 5.6mm x 6.9mm x 3mm, the orange jelly opals have lovely colour play of blue/purple and green with a little red. Length of the gem set area 18cm, length of the chain & necklace in total 37.5cm, weight 14.2gms. In original box from Richard Ogden's, 41 Duke Street, St. James' London SW1. Condition Report:"Stamped 15ct to the clasp, this is the only hallmark and all they are legally obliged to do. the clasp is soldered to the chain, there is no doubt in my mind that the entire item is 15ct gold. There are no chipped opals, one has an internal crack but this is stable and not noticeable without a 20x loope, it certainly does not go right through. Please see photos. This is the only damage, this necklace has been really well looked after. There was maybe a pendant that originally hung from the largest stone as there is a redundant loop. There are a few very tiny surface reaching inclusions, none are really eye visible, all are very well matched, with a wonderful orangy pinkish glow when light shines through them.Condition report images are as follows;- Hallmark, orange glow, then the last five are of the only crack and inclusions*It is not possible to take a photo of it being worn, it doesn't fit any of us!"

Finger size O, weight 4.1gms Condition Report:"The pink diamond, appears to be a nice clean stone, I can't see any inclusions within this diamond. please read below for more information. The trilliant cut diamonds both have carbon feather type inclusions, but they are not eye visible otherwise a nice white sparkly diamond.Mount has medium general wear. The Rhapsody collection is the premier brand by The Jewellery Channel. Is the diamond real? Yes, it is a genuine diamond. I do not have the original sales certificate with this item to give you all the details, I do not know if this diamond is a natural pink diamond, or whether it has been enhanced in colour. What I do know from experience, pink diamonds are incredibly rare (literally one in a million) and rarely found anywhere else other than the Argyle Mine in Australia which is now closed. the jewellery Channel still carry a limited collection of pink diamonds, it does not say anywhere the origin of the diamonds or whether they have been enhanced."
A BLACK OPAL & DIAMOND RING set with an estimated approx 12.5mm x 10mm x 3.1mm, black opal, flanked by tow estimated approx 0.10cts brilliant cut diamonds. Finger size approx N, weight 3.7gms Condition Report:The mark on the stone is the matrix of the opal (the stone that surrounds the opal formation..), as it was set with this present, I would think the gem cutter thought it probably went in quite deep and if they tried to remove it, a substantial part of the opal would be removed too, so they left it as is. So no, I don't think it could be removed, slight not eye visible scratches probably from manufacture, not damage. Diamonds bright and clean, mount all good, light general wear.
A FIVE STONE DIAMOND RING mounted in 18ct yellow gold and platinum. Set with estimated approx 0.75cts of old cut diamonds, finger size Q, weight 2.3gms Condition Report:Overall, nice bright clean diamonds, little bit of wear from wearing with another ring to both the shank and the mounts. With a loope the middle diamond is bright and has only one clear feather type inclusion that is surface reaching, with a tiny chip to the girdle. four out of the five diamonds have cullet facets. All match nicely for colour, and I can see no other inclusions
TWO CHINESE JEWELS A 'lucky bat' carved coral dress clip, the coral set in yellow metal filigree mount, approx 1.8cm x 1.8cm, weight 6.3gms, together with a Carved Chinese green hardstone carved with flowers, in a filigree mount on a 9ct gold vintage chain, dimensions of hardstone 3cm x 2cm, length of pendant drop 6.5cm, length of chain 42cm, weight 8gms Condition Report:"There are ten images taken 'in natural light' of this lot on the website, additional images wont tell you anymore about this lot. Condition report; Coral; nicely carved bats, striations of the coral growth visible in the coral with a loope. There is a chip to three of the corners two very slight and the other substantial. Coral is loose in the mount. Some losses to the gilding. Clip works well.Green hardstone; shallow carving, can't see if the back is carved, as the filigree is quite dense, it doesn't appear to be shiny, so its either not carved or dirty. There are dark inclusions within the green stone, one particularly towards the point that looks like a hole but it isn't. No damage to the green stone at all. The filigree is a bit 'pushed in' in places, but it is all there, appears to be yellow metal, chain no damage, fully hallmarked 9ct to the clasp and the chain."
