The number is preceded by the letter A, which is partially obscured by the claw. The font of the A looks to be that of a GIA inscription, and the details on the GIA report check match the assessments we have made of the diamond. There is no paper report to accompany this diamond.Minor surface marks/scratches to mount.

The canvas has good tension and the picture is in plane. The paint layers are in a good, stable condition overall. Under ultra violet light a varnish layer is present with a bright yellow fluorescence, although this does not extend to the corners of the painting. There is some overpaint present, mainly located in the corners of the canvas. It is possible that the painting was once displayed with a round slip to the frame.
