CONDITION REPORT: ONe turquoise coloured stone rough and pin end slightly proud. Circular bright blue one abraded as are the pair with metal rims. Others are in good condition generally but with surface dirt. Hat pin stand has crazing to the glaze but otherwise in good condition.

A collection of twelve green hat pins including a pair of large circular metal framed hat pins decorated with fruiting vines, with green stone patterned centres, a further pair of metal circular pins with pale green centres with shaped rims, two examples with different coloured green guilloche enamel, a hardstone example, green faceted glass examples, etc, all on pins of various lengths (12). CONDITION REPORT: Square hardstone example has small losses to the bottom. Slight abrasion to faceted round example. Some tarnish and dirt to metal elements, especially undersides. Abrasion and slight crack to one of the pale green pair. Generally in good condition.
Four Charles Horner hallmarked silver hat pins, three of various looping design and one set with clear glass cut stone, Chester 1904, 1908 and 1910, one modern (slightly af) (4). CONDITION REPORT: One of the loop design finials is a bit bent and parts are detached from each other in one spot.
An Edward VII hallmarked silver hat pin in the form of a shamrock set with three heart shaped slices of hardstone including bloodstone, a similar hallmarked silver example set with hardstone, probably mottled jasper, Joseph Cook & Son, Birmingham 1904 and 1906, width of heads 2cm, tube mounted on 24.6cm and 21cm pins, and a further hallmarked silver example in the form of a heart set with grey and orange quartz hardstone and mounted by a crown, Joseph Cook & Son, Birmingham probably 1906, width of head 2cm, ball mounted on a 25cm pin (3). CONDITION REPORT: Shamrock with leaves the same colour: chip to one stone, another has tiny rough patches. Other two in good condition but tarnishing throughout all three.
A circular gilt metal hat pin with lime green scale guilloche enamel surrounding four pale blue guilloche enamel floral motifs in pierced setting centred by a faceted green glass stone in bezel and rope twist set, diameter of had 3.7cm, bridge mounted on a 16.5cm pin. CONDITION REPORT: As can be seen in the illustration: enamel loss to one small petal and partial loss to another small petal, a couple of small cracks to the green enamel with a small loss to two thin areas bottom left, otherwise in good condition.
