Report number 6223966692, dated 27th June 2023.ProvenanceThese diamonds were acquired by Llewellyn Parker (1870-1949), thence by descent.Llewellyn Parker studied at the Royal School of Mines and was a member of the Institution of Mining and Metallurgy. In 1893, he became an assistant mining engineer for the Anglo-Australian mining corporation Rio Tinto. From 1896 to 1906, he was employed by the company in Western Australia then New South Wales, managing their gold, copper, tin and diamond mines.
